Angela La Monica

It is with great sadness that we announce Angela LaMonica's passing on Saturday, April 13th, 2024, with her family by her side.

Angela, a pillar of strength and love, will forever be missed by her beloved husband and soulmate, Salvatore, of 61 years. She was a dedicated mother to her children Josie (Bruno) Vincenza (Amilcar), Paolo (Lina) and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren Christina (Dan), Vanessa (Nicholas), Joshua (Julia), Tessa, Anthony, Julian and Katia, in which she embraced every moment spent with them. Angela was blessed to become a great-grandmother to Chloe, Nico, Gemma, Olivia and Gio who are left with the memory of her smile and warm hugs.

Angela will be sadly missed by her loving siblings, Cologero (Rosa), Angelo (Pina), Antonio (Donna), Rosa (Carmelo) and brother-in-law Giuseppe (Antonietta), as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Angela loved without judgment and welcomed anyone and everyone with open arms as if they were her own. She was immensely proud of her family and left nothing but tender memories behind. Even though we lost one of the most beautiful souls, we can take comfort in knowing that Angela's passing means heaven has gained a new angel.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Thursday April 18, 2024 from 2-4pm & 6-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Friday April 19, 2024 at 11:00am with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
