With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Angela Mason, who left us on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the age of 76 at Humber River Hospital. Angie was born on December 12, 1948, in the charming town of Aurava, Italy, to the late Mattia and Antonietta Mason.
Angie’s journey through life was one of remarkable dedication, adventure, and love. As the eldest of two siblings, she graduated from Nelson A. Boylen Secondary School, Toronto in 1968, forging a path that led her to a distinguished career at the Bank of Montreal. With determination and skill, she worked her way through the ranks, making a lasting impact on her colleagues and clients until her well-earned retirement in the late 90s.
Angie was a true globetrotter, exploring the wonders of the world with her lifelong friends. From the historic streets of Europe and the sun-kissed beaches of the Caribbean to the vibrant cultures of South America, Mexico, the US, and the ancient marvels of China, Angie’s adventurous spirit knew no bounds.
Her family meant the world to her. Angie is survived by her loving brother Silvano and his wife Vina, as well as her cherished nephew Matthew (Jessica) and niece Melanie (Domenic). Her legacy of love and joy continues through her great-niece and nephews: Samantha, Dean, and Cole.
Angie’s warm smile, kind heart, and zest for life will be forever missed but never forgotten.
A LIMB
has fallen
from the Family tree
that says Grieve not for me.
Remember the BEST TIMES,
The laughter, the song, the
Good life I lived while
I was STRONG
