Angela (Lina) Spano

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends will do this for Angela Spano, who passed away peacefully the morning of May 11, 2024 at the age of 89. Affectionately known as Lina to her family and friends, Lina will be deeply missed by her children Pasqua (Giuseppe) Intranuovo, Frank (Marcella) Spano, Joe (Sandra) Spano. As nonna Lina, she leaves a legacy of 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren(with one more on the way).

Angela (Lina) could be readily recognized by her dark hair and red nail polish. Always looking to be the life of the party, she regularly went dancing well into her 80's and was still "teaching" the staff  and residents at her nursing home, the art of dancing up until the final weeks of her life.
Having lost her husband of 36 years at a relatively young age, she spread her wings and lived to the fullest, traveling regularly and continuing an active social life. The sorrow we feel  will give way to the many memories and stories we have in our hearts.
