Annunziata Tullio

July 12, 1940 — February 8, 2025

Annunziata (Nancy) Tullio, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, left this world on February 8, 2025, in Maple, Ontario. Born on July 12, 1940, in the picturesque town of Sora, nestled in Frosinone, Italy. Annunziata carried her Italian heritage with her love for cooking and gardening—two passions she wholeheartedly dedicated to her family.Nancy touched the lives of everyone she met and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. As a devoted matriarch, she found joy in laughter and excitement, whether it was a simple gathering, holiday celebration, or time spent at the beloved cottage at Woodland Beach. Her spirit was anchored by the bond she had with her children, Rose, Ronny (Elvira), and Laura (Mark), whose lives were enriched by her nurturing presence. A grandmother who loved spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren—Sara, Ryan, Christopher and Daniel. Annunziata now joins the embrace of her beloved husband, Domenic, who predeceased her, along with her parents, Vincenzo and Anna, and her brother Domenic. Their spirits will undoubtedly welcome her with open arms as she steps into a new realm of peace. In her passing, Annunziata leaves behind not only her beloved children and grandchildren but also her dear siblings, Mario (Maria), and Maria (Ferruccio), who will carry the essence of her legacy forward along with all her nieces, nephews and extended family. The bonds of love and cherished memories she forged will continue to illuminate their lives, echoing the warmth and kindness she lavished upon each of them. The world has undeniably dimmed with her departure, but Nancy’s light will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew her. Family and friends may pay their respects during visitation at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre in Toronto on February 14, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
