Antonietta Miglionico

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonietta Miglionico, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She peacefully departed this life on August 7, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of love and devotion to her family.

Born on May 16, 1932, Antonietta led a life filled with joy and compassion. Her gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to her loved ones earned her a special place in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Antonietta is now reunited with her cherished husband, Savino, her dear parents, Nicola and Antonietta Avenia, and her beloved brother, Peter.  She is survived by her loving children, Anna, Lucy, and Derek, and will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Elysha, Adam, Remy, and Eitan. Antonietta was also a cherished great-grandmother to Caleb and Addyson, and she leaves behind her siblings Maria, Bart, and Johnny.

Antonietta’s presence brought solace, and her words carried the wisdom of a life well-lived. Her kindness knew no bounds, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She took pleasure in providing visitors with her delicious homemade Italian meals, often accompanied by her husband’s exquisite homemade wine.

In the hearts of those who loved her, Antonietta Miglionico leaves behind memories that will be cherished for eternity. While she may have departed from this world, her spirit lives on among her family and friends, a testament to a life filled with love and laughter. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Tuesday August 13, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Wednesday August 14, 2024 at 11:00am with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
