Antonio Affatati

Antonio Affatati, a vibrant soul born on April 10, 1944, in Pedace Italy, has departed from this world on December 24, 2024. May he be reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Loreta.

 A man whose laughter filled rooms with warmth and whose spirited presence drew people together, Antonio carved out a life marked not only by his industrious nature in the construction field but also by his infectious humor and larger-than-life personality.

He was a devoted father to his beloved son, Sergio, and embraced the role of a cherished father-in-law to Yeisy, whose companionship enriched his later years. Antonio took immense joy in his role as a Nonno, leaving behind treasured memories with his granddaughters, Dariana and Fiorella, who flourished under his guidance and playful spirit. 

He held close the bonds of family, his nephews Gianpiero & Massimilano, sister and brother -in-laws, Maria, Pietro, Giulia and the late Massimo, each laugh shared and lesson imparted became a legacy etched in their hearts. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Antonio thrived in pursuits that fed his vibrant spirit. His passions for soccer and Formula 1 racing brought exhilaration to his days, while gardening served as his canvas for creativity—each bloom reflecting the care and dedication he poured into every facet of his life.  As we bid farewell to Antonio Affatati, we cherish the memories he gifted us, aware that his spirit will accompany us eternally through the laughter shared, the stories told, and the love that binds family together.

A visitation to celebrate Antonio’s remarkable life will be held on January 5, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre, located at 5826 Bathurst Street. Toronto, Ontario. The family will receive guests on Monday January 6, 2025 from 9:30am until the commencement of the service at 10:30am. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, paying tribute to an extraordinary man whose laughter continues to echo in the hearts of those who loved him dearly.
