Antonio Carroccia

Antonio Carroccia, a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on March 1, 2025. 

 Antonio was born in 1934 in Chiaravalle Centrale, Catanzaro,  Italy. He worked many years in Germany and Switzerland to help support his five siblings and parents before marrying his love, Chiara Carroccia (1939-2015) in December of 1963, and immigrating to Canada with his 4 year old son, Domenic, in 1968.  He worked hard to provide for his family, later growing to include another son, Joe, in 1982.  He loved music, playing cards, and crafting unique pieces from scrap materials. He spent hours tending to his garden and enjoyed the company of his family and friends throughout the years. He is survived by his sons, Domenic (Tiziana), Joe (Stephanie), grandchildren Amanda (Patrick), Andrew (Briana), great granddaughter Mila, and would have welcomed two more great grandchildren this year. 

 His legacy of love and kindness will never be forgotten.
