Anthony Simonetta

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Anthony Simonetta on July 19, 2023 at the age of 68. Anthony is now reunited in heaven with his loving mother Santina and father Salvatore along with his brother Gino. Tony was a loving husband of Mary and father (father in law) of Kristen (Adam), Cassandra (Robert), Sam (Eliza), and Robert (Jessica).  He was a proud nonno who is leaving behind five beautiful grandchildren Ella, Adriano, Aria, James, and Gabriel.  Anthony leaves behind his sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Anthony loved his family, and he enjoyed spending time with them at home as well as travelling, especially to the beach. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, including baseball, hockey, and golf. Anyone who knew him also knew that he loved his cars and his music. He liked to drive fast, sing and dance, you should have seen his twist at family weddings. He enjoyed his work in real estate appraisal and the professional relationships that often became friendships.  He was a great storyteller, and we know the stories he told will live as memories in us forever.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Monday, July 24^th from 6-9pm, and Tuesday, July 25^th from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clare of Assisi Church (150 St Francis Ave, Woodbridge) on Wednesday, July 26^th at 9:30am with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum.
