Bruno Iaboni

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Bruno on March 30, 2024, at the age of 69. He was the cherished husband of Cathy for almost 41 years, and a devoted brother to Bianca (Nick), Gina (John), and Marisa (Robert), and brother-in-law to Alistair (Dorothy) and Jim (Catherine). Bruno was a loving uncle to Christina (Walter), Eleni, Athan (Isabela), Jonathan, Matthew, Scott (Shernold), Chad, Stephanie, Melissa (Rob), and Ian (Lauren), and a doting great-uncle to Walter and Brianna.  He held a special place in his heart as godfather to Tia.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the exceptional staff at Toronto General Hospital for their compassionate care during Bruno's final weeks.  We also express heartfelt appreciation to Bruno’s extensive circle of family and friends, whose unwavering support and friendship enriched his life immeasurably over the years.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11th from 4-9 p.m., followed by the funeral and entombment on Friday, April 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Westminster Cemetery, Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave. W.).  In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruno's memory may be made to Fighting Blindness Canada Home | Fighting Blindness Canada or to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB).
