Carmine Muraca, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, was welcomed into the world on February 18, 1941, in Figline Vegliaturo, Italia. He peacefully passed away on October 16, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family.
Carmine’s life was characterized by his gracious spirit and gentle nature. Known for being patient, respectful, generous, and considerate, he was a man who always placed his family at the centre of his life. With an open heart and a welcoming smile, he cultivated not only his garden but also deep connections with those around him. He embodied comfort, always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand.
His proudest accomplishments reflected his unyielding commitment to his family. Brought to Canada with the encouraging support of his beloved sister Virginia and brothers Mario and Francesco, Carmine worked very hard to build a prosperous life. His perseverance and determination allowed him to create a warm home filled with love, where values were instilled, and cherished memories were made.
Carmine took great joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with his family and gardening brought him immense happiness. He nurtured both plants and relationships with the same care, instilling a love, respect and appreciation for nature in his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Agata, who stood by him through thick and thin, sharing a partnership that exemplified true love and devotion. His sons, Giovanni and Francesco, along with their wives Giacomina and Anna, supported and cared for him deeply, reflecting the values he instilled in them. The legacy of his love lives on in his five granddaughters, Olivia and her husband Marc, Alessia, Madelyn, Daniella, and Sienna, who all adored their grandfather and cherished every moment they spent with him.
As we come together to honor the life of Carmine Muraca, we find comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on through the stories we will share and the love we continue to give.
