Carol Ricci

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Carol Ricci (nee Fisher) on January 10, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, shortly after celebrating her 88^th birthday. Beloved wife to the late John Ricci and cherished companion to Wallace Elgie. Loving mother of Bruce (Delia), Paul (Cheryl), the late Sue and stepmother to Adelle and Diana. Devoted grandmother of Sarah, Matthew (Elena) and Braun. Carol was predeceased by her siblings Barbara Patterson and Elinor Guthrie. Upon retiring as a Planning and Research Statistician, Carol enjoyed her time gardening, traveling, reading and attending frequent bridge games with close friends. Carol will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her many extended family and friends, including her nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten. 

We wanted to offer our sincerest gratitude and thanks for the outstanding care and support from the staff at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, where Carol has resided in her final years.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St.). After the long driveway, it is the first building on your left and the Reception Centre is located on the south side. Carol’s family invites family and friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 12-3 p.m for a Celebration of Life gathering. In keeping with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held.
