Carolina Carusone

Carolina Carusone passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024, in North York, Ontario, at the age of 89. Born on May 25, 1935 in the charming town of Vitulazio, Caserta, Italy, Carolina embodied the spirit of resilience and warmth throughout her life.

Devoted mother to Melina (Enzo), a beloved Nonna to Christina (Paolo), Joey (Patrizia), Nicholas and Steven. Adoring Bisnonna to Selina, Marco and Joseph. Carolina’s heart was a boundless well of affection for her family, where each memory was nurtured with her gentle spirit. Her legacy as a loving matriarch will live on through the generations she touched with her unwavering support and compassion.

She is now reunited in Heaven with beloved husband Frank and her son Joe.

Carolina had a passion for gardening that blossomed with the seasons, much like the love she cultivated within her family. The vibrancy of her garden mirrored her nurturing personality, as she would often share fresh vegetables and beautiful flowers with her loved ones. Baking was another cherished pastime; she delighted in creating mouthwatering treats, filling her home with the sweet aromas that brought joy to all who entered.

Carolina's quiet strength was deeply reflected in her character. She faced life's challenges with grace. Her kindness extended beyond family ties, touching the hearts of friends and neighbors alike, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Carolina’s long and fulfilling life. Visitation will take place on November 15, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre located at 5826 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON. The funeral service will commence at 11:30 am, followed by interment at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum at 12:15 pm.
