Donato Marchetta

Donato Marchetta sadly passed away on September 3, 2024, with family by his side. Donato was born in Limosano, Campobasso, Italy, on August 7, 1937. He loved to travel and started traveling across Europe at a very young age, working in various countries. He immigrated to Canada in 1960 and worked for Massey Ferguson for many years, where he was an avid union steward. Donato loved to play cards and spent many weekends dancing the nights away. He will be reunited with his mother and father, Maria and Assunto; his brothers, Giovanni (Angela), Antonio (Giorgina), Domenic; and his sister, Concetta (Biondo). He is survived by his partner, Giuseppina, whom he called Josie, and his nieces and nephews, Joanne (Joe), Enzo (Teresa), Rosette, Gino (Kendall), Domenic, Assunto (Maria), Angelo (Brenda); and his great-nieces and nephews, Andrea, Matthew (Doro), Michael, Jenna (Justin), Marco (Sarah), Stefania, Paul, Victoria, Michaella, Eric, Anthony and Great, Great nephew and niece Shea & Ryan.
