On February 20, 2025 our beloved mother, Elfia Di Nardo, passed away. She is now reunited forever with her beloved husband Attilio, her daughter Caterina, her parents Rosa & Vincenzo and parents in-law Caterina & Giuseppe who we know were waiting with open arms to welcome her.

Born on February 18, 1938, in Gamberale, Italy, Elfia's life spanned a remarkable 87 years filled with love, resilience, and deep familial bonds.

Missing their devoted mother are her children: Giuseppe (Darlene); Gabriella (Rick); Enzo (Sheila); and Bruno (Franca). Elfia was especially proud of her grandchildren—Patrick, Karen, Jessica, David (Nikki), Julian, Erika, Cassandra, and Joseph—who brought immense joy into her life. They will always remember her as the best Nonna ever. The arrival of her great-granddaughter, Emily, was a blessing that Elfia treasured dearly.

Also left to mourn are Elfia's beloved siblings, her brother Domenico (Dina); her sister Elodia (Nazzareno) and her brother Mario (Maria). She also leaves behind a large circle of brother in-laws, sister in-laws and cousins; nieces & nephews; friends and neighbours. 

Family was everything to Elfia, she has been our strength & stay through all her years and a shining example of devotion to her children & grandchildren. She is irreplaceable and we will miss her dearly but are very grateful for the legacy and decades of memories that she leaves with us. We will treasure them forever.

A visitation honoring Elfia’s memory will be held at the Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre, located at 5826 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on February 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will take place on February 26, 2025, beginning at 10:30 AM, followed by a burial at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum at 11:45 AM.
