Emilia will forever be remembered for her love of cooking, especially during family gatherings and Sunday dinners. Her culinary skills not only delighted the taste buds of those around her but also became a symbol of her care and nurturing spirit. As a passionate caregiver, she selflessly took care of everyone in her life, ensuring that no one went hungry and that all felt the warmth of her love through every dish prepared with meticulous attention.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Emilia would attest to her strong-willed nature and opinionated yet insightful perspectives. Her presence commanded attention, and her words resonated with wisdom and sincerity. Beyond her vibrant personality, Emilia found solace and joy in simple pleasures like gardening, where she cultivated beauty and serenity from the earth.
Emilia leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion in the hearts of her surviving family members: her loving common-law husband Rocco Spina, beloved daughters Rose and Silvana (the late Julio) and daughter- in- law Rose.
