Ermes Buffa

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ermes Buffa on August 11, 2024 at the age of 86. He will be forever missed by his dear children Lorraine (Peter), Ron (Erika) and Derek (Vlasta). Adoring Nonno to Daniela, Monica, Nadia, Andrew, Patrick and Sarah. He will always be remembered by his siblings and will be held dear in the hearts of his nieces, nephews and extended family, relatives, neighbours and good friends.

Ermes was born on August 27, 1937, in Bannia Friuli, Italy. From a young age, he was known for his warm heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication to his family. Ermes worked as a skilled carpenter for over 40 years, a profession he approached with both pride and passion. He was known for his meticulous craftsmanship and his ability to turn any project into a masterpiece. Beyond his professional achievements, it was his role as a father and grandfather that he cherished most.

All arrangements will be held in private, and we ask that you kindly respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Ermes to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
