Eugenio Gentile

Eugenio Gentile, a gentle soul and compassionate heart, departed this life on January 29, 2025. Born on June 16, 1964, he was a kind-hearted soul whose compassion touched the lives of all who knew him. Growing up as an angelic presence in the lives of his family, he possessed a quiet strength that resonated deeply with everyone around him.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Francesca and late Pietro, who raised him to be kind and empathetic man he became. Father to Peter, Melody and Trevon. His siblings Marisa (Savvas) and Giuseppe (Connie), will forever hold dear the memories they shared growing up together, standing by one another through life’s ups and downs. Uncle to Angela (Joseph), Ciro (Gulianna), Vanessa (Marcus), Joseph and Nicholas. Great uncle to Cole, Jacob and Adriana.

Eugenio found solace and joy in nature, particularly through his passion for fishing. Those moments spent by the water brought him peace and happiness, allowing him to connect with both the beauty of the world and the memories shared with loved ones.

As family and friends come together to celebrate the life of Eugenio Gentile, we recognize the profound impact he had on all of us. His quiet demeanor and loving spirit will be cherished, living on through the love he spread and the memories we hold dear.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Eugenio to CAMH

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery. The family will receive guests on Monday February 3, 2025 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Tuesday February 4, 2025 at 10:00am with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
