Franca Carelli

Franca Carelli, a loving and kind soul, was born on February 7, 1968, and departed this world on January 21, 2025. Her presence in our lives was a gentle reminder of the beauty that surrounds us, and her spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Franca had an unwavering love for nature that was evident in her beautiful garden, a sanctuary where she nurtured vibrant flowers and plants that reflected her joyful personality. She often found solace among the greenery, embracing the tranquility that the outdoors offered. Her passion for gardening was only rivaled by her affection for cats, who were cherished companions in her life.

She leaves behind a devoted family who will carry her memory in their hearts. Franca is survived by her beloved father, Mario, and her wonderful mother, Rita. She shared a close bond with her brothers, Claudio (Bardha) and Steve (Amanda), who both admired her kindness and zest for life. Franca was not only a sister but also a treasured aunt to her nephews & nieces, Mario, Francesca, Kyle and Skyla, who delighted in the joy and warmth she brought into their lives.

Franca’s passing leaves a void that will be felt deeply, yet her loving spirit will live on through the countless memories she has etched in the minds of those she touched. Her laughter, her love for nature, and her gentle nature will forever glow as a beacon of hope and kindness.

A visitation to honor Franca will be held on January 26, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre in Toronto. A funeral service will follow on January 27, 2025, at 10:30 AM, also at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre, leading to interment at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum at 11:15 AM. All those who knew and loved Franca are invited to join in celebrating her life and the lasting impact she has made in our hearts.
