Francesco De Santo

Francesco De Santo passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 07, 2024 in his 94th year.

Born on September 04, 1930 in Castrolibero, Cosenza, Italy.

 He emigrated to Canada in 1964 at the age of 34, Francesco is predeceased by his parents’; Raffaele and Esterina, He is reunited in heaven with his 3 sisters Gilda(Tony), Carmela(Orlando) and Emilia(Rosario). Dear Brother of, Antonio(Mary), Peter(Margaret), John(Marisa).

 He leaves behind his loving wife of 66 years, Rosina and his sons Ralph(Angie) and Louie(Mary). A proud dotting Grandfather to Stephanie(Michael), Daniella(Eric), Rebecca, Claudia and Francesco. Also a proud Great-Grandfather to Charlie, George and Lilah

 Francesco was an extremely hard worker who loved his family and he truly enjoyed socializing with his brothers and sisters and the rest of the extended family, no matter where the occasion was.

 In Lieu of flowers and if so desired, donations may be made in memory of Francesco to The Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care, Humber River Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Toronto.

 The family is extremely thankful for the incredible support team of Doctors,Nurses,Care-Coordinators, Caregivers and PSWs who all played a vital role in ensuring that Francesco received the absolute best level of care with total dignity.

 We will all hold his memory in our hearts forever.
