Gilda Del Carmen Errett, affectionately known as Toto, was born in Santiago, Chile on September 16, 1964. She departed this life on January 31, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories that will forever resonate with her family and friends.

Toto was a devoted wife to Fred, a loving mother to her daughters, Samantha and Nicole, and a doting sister to Cristina, Cecilia, Sylvia, Lorena C, Lorena P, and Christian. Her bond with her family was unbreakable, and her nurturing spirit impacted everyone around her. Toto was deeply loved by her many other family members and friends in Chile, keeping her heart forever intertwined with her roots and heritage.

As we reflect upon her life, we remember the laughter she shared with her sisters, the warmth of her devotion to her daughters, and the steadfast support she provided to her husband, Fred. She embodied grace and resilience, navigating life's challenges with a smile and an unwavering belief in the power of love.

Toto is now reunited in spirit with her beloved sisters, Cecilia and Sylvia, and her cherished grandparents, Federico, Margarita, Abdon and Carmen. Their memories will forever be a source of comfort for those she left behind, reminding us of the beautiful connections that remain even after we part from this earthly realm.

A visitation will be held in her honour on February 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre at 5826 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON, M2R 1Y6. Following the visitation, a funeral service will begin at noon, concluding with a burial ceremony at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum at 1:00 PM.

Though her physical presence is no longer with us, Gilda Del Carmen Errett’s spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved her. May we carry her memory forward, sharing the lessons she taught us about love, family, and connection.
