Giulio Simone

Giulio Simone, a dedicated construction worker known for his hard work and commitment to his family, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2024, in Toronto, Ontario. Born on September 24, 1930, in Pescosolido, Frosinone, Italy, to Domenico and Stella Simone. Giulio will be remembered as a man of resilience and determination, always prioritizing his loved ones above all else. He immigrated to Canada in 1962 to provide a better life for his family.

Giulio's nurturing spirit and love for simple pleasures were evident in his passion for gardening and making homemade wine. He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Maria, their children Carlo (Teresa) and Domenic (Lucy), and his grandchildren Julian, Lucas, and Alessandro. He is also survived by his siblings Liberata (Antonio, deceased), Ginetta (Antonio, deceased), and Antonio (Carla). May he be reunited in Heaven with his predeceased siblings Filippo, Gregorio (Pietrina), and Emilia (Emilio).

Giulio will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his many sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. During this time of sorrow, may they find comfort in the cherished memories they all shared with Giulio. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the enduring memories he created. May he rest in peace.
