Giuseppe Casella

CASELLA, Giuseppe (Joe) born February 1936, in Roggiano Gravina Italy, died peacefully on January 21, 2025, in Toronto. Joe is survived by his loving wife Rosa Iuliano Casella, his children; Teresa Casella (Louis), Emilia Casella (Luciano), Angela Casella (Filippo), Giuseppina Casella (Saverio), his grandchildren Sophie, Penelope and Sebastian, his sister Dora (Giuseppe), his brother Luigi (Teresa). Joe lived a life marked by kindness, strength and an unwavering dedication to family. He was a pillar of warmth, whose love touched all who knew him.

In later years Joe faced a challenging journey with dementia, a condition that gradually changed the way he engaged with the world. Despite this,his spirit remained resilient, and moments of clarity and joy continued to shine through. We are grateful to his wife Rosina who showed compassion by taking care of him during this time. We are also thankful to his caregivers who always showed him love and respect with every changing day.

Joe leaves  behind a legacy of love, laughter and precious moments that will forever stay in our hearts.

 Joe put those dancing shoes on and dance till your heart is content- CHA CHA CHA.
