Giuseppina Breggia

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Giuseppina Breggia, who departed this life on February 21, 2025, in Woodbridge, Ontario.

She was born on November 7, 1931, in Lettomanoppello, Pescara, Italy and her journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to hard work and her deep love for those around her. Giuseppina was a beacon of kindness and love. Her nurturing spirit was felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

She devoted her life to her family, pouring her heart into every moment spent with them. She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Giovanni. 

As a mother to Luciana (Carlos) and Antonio, she instilled in them the values of dedication and compassion. Her role as a grandmother was cherished dearly, Fabio (Sandra) and Marco, and found immense joy in watching her legacy extend with the births of her great-grandchildren, Ella, Ethan, Evah and Evan. Each moment spent with them was a testament to her profound love and devotion.A skilled cook and baker, Giuseppina found pure joy in creating meals that brought the family together. Her kitchen was not just a place of cooking but a haven where memories were made and shared over hearty meals and sweet treats. 

The warmth of her personality and her lovingly prepared dishes left an indelible mark on the hearts and palates of her loved ones. 

The memory of Giuseppina will be honoured during her visitation at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre in Toronto on February 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Her funeral service will take place there on February 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by her Entombment at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum at 10:45 AM.As we bid farewell to a remarkable woman, we celebrate the life of Giuseppina Breggia—a kind and loving soul whose hard work and gentle spirit will continue to inspire all of us fortunate enough to have called her family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.
