Khirool (Jean) Neshaw LaCroix

It is with great sadness that the family of Khirool (Jean) Neshaw LaCroix announce her passing on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Born in 1933 in Guyana, Jean immigrated to Trinidad at the age of 21 and settled in Canada with her family in 1968. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 91 at Wellbrook Place, Mississauga. Jean was predeceased by her son Sham and is survived by her two daughters Shireen and Shahida, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Jean was a women of faith and always put Jesus first. Jean's charitable heart was shown by always having a welcoming and open door and a hot meal ready to serve.

For those who wish to honour Jean's legacy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ADRA Canada, a humanitarian non-profit that provides emergency relief and addresses poverty. Jean will be greatly missed and always remembered in the lives and hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 10:00am until the commencement of the Funeral Service at 10:30am with burial to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
