Liliana Di Carlo passed away in her husband’s arms on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Baycrest Hospital in Toronto. She was born in Vasto, Italy on October 5th, 1951. Loving wife to her devoted husband Antonio (Tony) for 53 years and proud mother to her precious daughter Priscilla.
She was a faithful servant of Jehovah God and regularly preached to others abut the wonderful promise of the resurrection outlined in the Bible, in the Gospel of John 5:28, 29 in which she firmly believed. Starting at a very young age along side her father Luigi, over the years she has helped several people understand God’s purpose to restore a paradise on earth to be enjoyed by mankind.
As an Early Childhood Educator she enjoyed very much teaching children with such mildness and understanding that they were attracted to her like a magnet, particularly those with special needs.
For over three years she bravely battled the most aggressive brain cancer, being an example of courage and determination to others and giving comfort and encouragement to those facing illnesses and hardships. During this time, she focused on God’s promise in the words of Isaiah 33:24 that says “No resident will say: ‘I am sick’” until she finally succumbed to this dreadful illness.
The viewing will be a private event for family members only, but there will be a “Memorial Talk” on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 at 3:30 pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 77 Champagne Dr., North York, ON.
