Luciano (Louie) Domenichini

Luciano (Louie) Domenichini, a beloved figure in his community, departed this world on September 3, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on December 10, 1947, Louie dedicated his life to the service of others, notably through his lengthy career with the City of Toronto, where he made a lasting impact on the lives of many. He is reunited in heaven with his parents Loreto and Angela, his beloved sister Mary, and his son Marco Luciano. Survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Rita. Beloved father of Angela, Vince (Tanya), and Marie-Rose (David). Loving grandfather of Bryan, Julia, and Lindsay.

Louie was a remarkable individual whose vibrant spirit brought joy to everyone around him. He was known for his love of life, which he expressed through his many passions. Whether it was fishing on tranquil lakes, whipping up delicious meals in the kitchen, or transferring into a magician and clown for children’s birthday parties, Louie understood the importance of spreading happiness. His unforgettable performance as Mickey Mouse for one of his niece’s birthday celebrations remains a treasured memory for all who were there, illustrating his playful nature and ability to light up any room.

Louie’s spirit will continue to shine bright in each of us, reminding us of the power of kindness, creativity, and connection that he so readily exemplified. As we gather in remembrance, we do so with gratitude for the time we had with a remarkable man who, in his own unique way, inspired us all to embrace the magic in life.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Luciano (Louie) to Heart and Stroke Foundation and Canadian Cancer.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Monday September 9, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Tuesday September 10, 2024 at 11:00am.  Cremation to follow at a later date.
