Lucio Antonio Paterra

Lucio Antonio Paterra, a vibrant soul known for his love of storytelling, has bid farewell to this world at the age of 72. Born on July 5, 1951, in the picturesque town of Palena, Abruzzo, Italy, Lucio's journey came to a peaceful close on June 7, 2024, in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
 
With a warm and social personality, Lucio touched the lives of many with his charming and jovial nature. His memories will forever linger in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Lucio leaves behind a legacy cherished by his beloved wife of 50 years, Rosa, his son Agostino (Susanna), and his daughter Giovanna (Frank). Proud Nonno to Julie, Sofia, Cosimo & Victoria.  Survived by his siblings Carlo (Anna Rita), Mario, Giovanna (Giovanni), his father-in-law, Nicola, sister-in-law, Filomena and brother-in-law, Alessandro. Doting uncle to Rosa (Marco), Antonio (Laura), Nick (Debra), Anna and their families. In their grief, may they find solace in the countless moments of joy and love shared with Lucio.
 
A man of diverse interests, Lucio found joy in cultivating his vegetable garden, crafting homemade wine with care and expertise, cheering passionately for soccer matches, and eagerly following the excitement of the World Cup. His enthusiasm for life was infectious and left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
 
As we gather to reminisce and celebrate the vibrant spirit that Lucio brought into our lives, let us find comfort in each other's company and treasure the memories that will forever bind us together.
 
May we bid farewell to Lucio Antonio Paterra with gratitude for having known him and carry forth his love and laughter as a guiding light in our own journeys. Rest in peace.
