Luisa Antinucci (Nee: Marcantonio)

January 14, 1930 — July 30, 2024

Luisa Antinucci, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on July 30, 2024, with her loving family at her bedside. She is survived by her beloved husband Tristano of 70 years of marriage. She will be reunited in heaven with her loving parents Camillo and Maria Carmine Marcantonio and her siblings Donato (late Elena) and Giuseppina (late Ernesto). Luisa is survived by her children Maria (late Carlo), Dan and niece Ivana. Her presence will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Ilena, Edward (Christina), Lauren (Luke), Rachel (Paul), and Emily. She was also a loving great-grandmother to Madelyne, Jenna, and Liam.

Luisa possessed many talents and skills. Her creativity and passion for sewing knew no bounds. She poured her heart into every stitch as seen in her whimsical and elaborate Halloween costumes made for her grandchildren. She was the heart of the home. Cooking for family and friends was her pride and joy. Her trademark ‘sugo’ and homemade pasta remain legendary and unmatched. Joyful memories were created around these loud, boisterous, and happy meals. These family gatherings will be forever treasured.

Her infectious and happy nature were further seen in her love for flowers and vibrant colours. Our beloved Matriarch’s genuine kindness, hospitality and big heart will be a memory that will not be forgotten. Luisa’s legacy of hard work, perseverance, unconditional and unwavering love for her family and friends will continue to be an inspiration to all who knew her.

May she rest in peace knowing that her legacy of love and family will forever be etched in the hearts of those she touched.

May her memory be forever a blessing
