Magdi Tawadros

Magdi Amin Iskander Tawadros, 85, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024. Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart fills ours and comforts us at this time. Magdi is survived by his daughter Melissa, sister Haidy, niece Rhonda, beloved cousin Sonia, and many others. He was a loving father to his daughter Melissa, late son Michael and niece Rhonda. Magdi was born in Tanta, Egypt to parents Amin and Mary. He graduated from Alexandria University, pursuing his passion for design as an Architect. His love of life, adventure and the outdoors took him many places, leaving many great stories to share and jokes to tell. Magdi's sole purpose in life was to take care of his family, to his last breath. His sacrifices, legacy, laughter and love was for all of us. God rest his soul in eternal peace. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a foundation or cause close to your heart.

Funeral Service will be held at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church (41 Glendinning Ave, Toronto, ON M1W 3E2) on Saturday July 13 at 9:30am, burial will follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St, North York ON M2R 1Y6). The family would like to extend an invitation to their family and friends to join them for a reception at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre in the Rose Hall, for a time of fellowship in remembering Magdi.
