Maria Iaccino

Maria Iaccino, a cherished soul whose life spanned over 96 years, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2024. Born on April 11, 1928, Maria was a beacon of love and warmth, touching the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Maria’s heart was as vibrant as her beloved flowers, which she adored cultivating throughout her life. Her passion for nature reflected her nurturing spirit, and she found joy in the simple beauty that surrounded her. Each bloom served as a reminder of her vibrant character and loving disposition.

She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Carmine, sharing with him a bond that she served as an inspiration to all who witnessed their love. Together, they built a family that became the cornerstone of her existence. She is survived by her cherished children, Ada, and late Paulo (Pina). She found immense joy in the laughter and accomplishments of her grandchildren Michael (Joanna) and Rob (Christina), who brought her great pride and happiness. Her role as a grandmother extended to her great-grandchildren, Stefano, and Lorenzo, who highlighted her later years with laughter and love. Now, she beautifully reunites in Heaven with her beloved husband Carmine, and cherished son Paulo, parents and siblings, creating an everlasting bond that will be felt by her family on earth. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to thrive in the memories they shared, the storied they will tell, and the love that will forever bind them.

Maria Iaccino will be deeply missed but her spirit will continue to flourish in the memories of those who loved her. As they gather together to celebrate her life, they will take comfort in the love she so freely shared throughout her remarkable journey.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Thursday August 22, 2024 at 11:00am until the commencement of the service at 1:00pm with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
