Maria Nuccitelli, born on August 13, 1931, in the rolling hills of Abruzzo, Italy, passed away in the warmth of Toronto, Ontario Canada on October 1, 2024. She was a beacon of light, known for her nurturing spirit and dedication to bringing people together with conversation and endless flowing coffee.
She spent her life surrounded by her loved ones, including her beloved husband of 58 years, the late Giuseppe. Their enduring love was a beacon of inspiration for their family, a testament to true partnership and commitment. As a mother, she nurtured her children Egidio (Ann) and Antonio (late Maddalena) with unwavering support and kindness, fostering environments filled with laughter and love. Maria took immense pride in her grandchildren, Laura, Joseph and Victoria, instilling in them the family values that she held dear. Daughter to her late parents, Antonio and Regina, Maria was a loving sister, whose bond with her siblings illuminated her spirit. She also embraced the role of beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews, sharing in their milestones and joys, always the firm yet gentle encouragement.
Maria found great fulfillment in her devotion of doing what is right and aiding those in conversation with an open mind and loving heart. She brought happiness to many gatherings, creating memorable experiences for families and friends alike. Maria found simple pleasures such as walking, savoring coffee with friends and neighbors while relishing each day as a gift. Her generous spirit shone through in her charitable donations, especially her dedicated support for the St. Antonio de Padua Orphanage, a cause close to her heart.
