Mary Theresa Pushpam Maryjoseph passed away peacefully on Monday February 3, 2025, in Toronto, Canada. Mary Theresa was born in Sillalai, Sri Lanka on December 27, 1940.

 Loving wife of late Maryjoseph Ponrasa. 

 Beloved daughter of late Anthonypillai and Annamma. Loving daughter-in-law of late Savararimuthu and Annamma.

 Loving sister of late Soundaram, late Praxid (Rani), Cecelia (Jeyam), Patrick Emmanuel, Mary Emelda, Dominic (Rasa).

 Dearest cousin to Cholastica (Shanthum) and Christy.

 Beloved mother to Victor (Kumar), Charlet (Jayanthy), Stephen (Seelan), late Ruben, Hubert (Shanthan), Charlet (Thushanthy), Maria (Krishanthy).

 Dearest mother-in-law to Paul, Sudha, Benjamin (Yoga), Rushanthy, and Princiya. 

 Adored grandmother of Stefanie, Suruthy, Raphael, Akarsh, Maura, Melanie, Claudia, Shreya, Emmaculate, Bharati, Shirley, Keshia, and Sherwin.

Caring sister-in-law to Elizabeth Nesarani, Leo Mariyathasan, Denisia Suguna, Senathirajah, Geethangali, late Mariyanayagam, late Lawrence, Mariarani, late Vethanayagam, late Rosepushpam, and Rajeswary. 

 Great aunt to Dishara, Ruckshan, Nithilan, Shamika, Varushini, Laroan, Disney, Danny, Sharoan, and Didier.
