Michael Tzoutis, beloved father, son, brother, husband and friend, passed away on July 10th, 2024, at the age of 55. He was born on April 7, 1969, in Athens, Greece, and moved to Toronto with his parents in 1972 at the age of three and a half.
Michael, also known affectionately as Mike, was a man of simple pleasures. His true joy in life came from his children and family. Being a father and a loving husband was his proudest accomplishment, and he cherished every moment spent with his children.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Hazel, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Michael's children, Patricia(Joseph), Alexis(Daniel), and Tony, will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Patricia, his eldest and first-born daughter, Alexis, his middle daughter, and Tony, his youngest and first son, brought immeasurable happiness to his life.
In addition to his immediate family, Michael is survived by his parents, Tony and Koula, his brother Bobby, and sister-in-law Francessca. His nephews Samuel and Anthony. He had a special place in the hearts of his family members and will be deeply missed.
Those who knew Michael will always remember his infectious smile and charismatic personality. He had a way of brightening up any room and brought laughter wherever he went. Michael was known for his positive outlook on life and his ability to find joy in even the smallest moments.
Michael found solace in his Greek Orthodox faith, and it brought him comfort throughout his life. Despite his battle with cancer, Michael remained strong and fought courageously until the very end.
His family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with Michael and the love he gave so freely. He will be remembered as a man who touched the lives of many with his kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit.
A private funeral service will be held to honor and celebrate the life of Michael Tzoutis. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Cancer Society in his memory.
Michael's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and his legacy will never be forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.
