Nicola Strangis

Nicola Strangis, born in Lamezia Terme, Calabria, Italy on October 7, 1930, passed away on April 4, 2024, in Toronto, at the age of 93.  

Loving father to Giovanna and Maria Rosa and father-in law to Michael. Proud Nonno to Nicola (Monica), Michele, Peter, Jessica, Samantha and Giuliana.  Adoring Bisnonno to Raimondo and Domenico.  Survived by his brother, Cologero (Natalina), his sisters, Maria and Caterina. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, sisters-in laws, cousins, and many friends. 

May he be reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Francesca, his son, Raimondo, his daughter, Anna, his mother, Anna Mastroianni, his father, Raimondo Vincenzo, his stepmother, Innocenza Ferraina, and his siblings, Maurizio, Giovanna, Marcello and Giuseppe. Nicola was not only a dedicated family man and hard-working and skilled metal worker, but also a passionate gardener and winemaker. His hobbies brought him joy and relaxation, and he shared these passions with those closest to him. 

In his memory, let us cherish the time we had with Nicola Strangis - a man of many talents, strength, warmth, and generosity. May he rest in peace knowing that he was truly loved and his legacy lives on in the memories shared with his loved ones and many friends.
