Osvaldo Ercolani

It is with broken hearts to announce the passing of Osvaldo Ercolani on January 12, 2025 at the young age of 67. 

 A cherished husband of almost 44 years to Anna, loving father to Andrea (Daniel), Jessica (Martin), and Julia (Kenneth). Adoring Nonno to Lucy, Gemma, Joanna, Evan, and Bridgette. A devoted son of Vincenza and the late Liberato Ercolani, son-in-law of the late Emilio and Concetta Ammendolia, brother of Areli (Anna), and brother-in-law of Angela (Sam), Josie (Joe), Louisa (Tom), Vince (Androulla), Carlo (Barbara). Proud uncle to 15 nieces and nephews and great uncle to 4.

 Osvaldo was born in 1957 in Venezuela, and arrived in Canada in 1959 with his family. He and his little brother grew up on Day Avenue: a street filled with late-night hockey games and friendships that have lasted a lifetime. He lived a life full of many hobbies and interests, but his family and friends were always his greatest passion. He loved taking road trips with his wife in the passenger seat of his Mustang; dropping everything to “save the day” for his daughters; spoiling movie endings; talking tech, politics, and DIY with his sons-in-law; and providing endless snacks, pulling the wagon to the park, and building Hot Wheels tracks for his grandchildren.

 Taken too soon, his family will find comfort in his faith and trust in God. He will live on in the stories, music, and endless dad jokes he loved to share. You’re right Dad, the clown does taste funny.
