Patrick Serrao

It is with profound sadness that the family of Patrick Serrao announce his passing on March 23, 2024. Born to Giuseppe and Antonietta on February 28th, 1955, Pat lived the early years of his life in Maierato, Vibo Valentia, Italy, with his three siblings, Frank, Domenic (Pina), and Toni (Danny Silva) before coming to Canada. It is there that he met his beloved wife and best friend, Mariette. Their 50-year bond was a testament to enduring love and unwavering support, serving as an inspiration to all who knew them. 

As a father to Joe and Chris, Pat's dedication knew no bounds. He poured his heart and soul into nurturing his sons, imparting upon them the values of integrity, resilience, and compassion that would carry them through all of life's challenges. Pat’s example not only shaped the lives of his sons, but also served as a guiding light in helping them find their own life partners, Toni and Rita, further extending the legacy of love and devotion that defined his own life.

Pat found immeasurable joy in his role as Nonno to Angelo and Sophie. His eyes would light up with pride at the mere mention of his beloved grandchildren, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

May he find eternal peace in the embrace of his loved ones, knowing that his legacy will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who knew him.
