Pietro Francella

Pietro Francella passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025 in his home with his wife of 70 years, Rosina, at his side. He was born on March 6, 1932 in Belsito, Italy. 

He was the son of Teresa and Francesco and brother to eleven siblings, and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Pietro and Rosina were married in Italy in 1954 and immigrated to Thunder Bay where they lived for 7 years before moving to Toronto. 

He will be fondly remembered for his loving kindness to all, his beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, and of course, his warm smile that touched the hearts of everyone. 

Pietro leaves behind his wife Rosina and his 5 children: Enzo (Susan), Anna (John), Florence (Tony), John (Mirella), and Peter Jr. (Grace). His Grandchildren: Andrea (Adam), Amanda (Adrian), Stephen (Alexandra), Jessica (Marc), Alexandra (Steven), Patrick (Laura), Melissa, John-Paul (Jenny), Jonathan (Anita), and Peter (Katrina). His Great Granddaughters: Emily, Ivy, Sofia, Madelyn, Rose, Olivia, and Valentina.

Pietro will be dearly missed and his spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all those who loved him.
