Portia, a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and devoted follower of Christ, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and unwavering faith. Portia was born in April 1974 and is survived by her mother, father, twin brother, sister and younger brother. She took immense joy in giving, recently spending hours preparing gifts for loved ones in Zimbabwe. Her selflessness and happiness were evident in every detail she meticulously prepared.
Her faith was the foundation of her life. Raised in the United Methodist Church, she became a minister in the Destiny and Dominion Church, guiding and inspiring others in their spiritual journeys. She played a significant role in her family’s spiritual life, leading prayers and participating in Bible study meetings. Her love for worship grew over the years, bringing her immense joy.
Portia's humility and kindness were constants in her life. She never complained about life’s challenges and always treated others with respect and love. Her father and mother cherished her not just as a daughter but as a friend and partner in life’s journey.
Portia’s passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her family and friends.
Rest in peace, Portia. Your love and light will never be forgotten.
