Renza Polese
December 10, 1941 - December 2, 2023
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Renza Polese, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Renza's gentle spirit and warm presence will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Renza has been reunited with her loving husband Umberto, cherished son Renzo, dear parents Arturo and Marcellina.
Renza is survived by her sons Paolo (Ann), Maurizio, and Giovanni. Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Sister to siblings in Edmonton and Italy.
Renza from a young age possessed an innate passion for life and a kind heart that touched everyone she encountered. She was a pillar of strength for her family and an inspiration to those around her. Renza's unwavering love and unwavering support brought so much joy and happiness to her loved ones.
Family meant everything to Renza. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever. Her love extended beyond family, as she welcomed friends into her circle with open arms. Her genuine care and concern touched the lives of many, providing a safe haven for all who sought solace in her presence.
Cooking and Gardening was her passion that brought Renza endless joy to her life. Her kitchen was always filled with the aroma of delicious home-cooked meals made with love. Whether it was a traditional family recipe or an experimental dish she created herself, Renza's culinary skills were renowned among her friends and family. She shared countless meals that brought laughter, warmth, and comfort to those fortunate enough to share her table. The garden served as a reflection of her nurturing soul - tending to each plant with care and watching them flourish brought her immense satisfaction.
Renza's memory will be forever cherished by her children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends. Although she may no longer be physically present with us, her love and spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Let us remember Renza for the profound impact she had on our lives and the lasting legacy she leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimers Society of Canada in Renza’s name. This act of kindness will honor her memory and continue the tradition of compassion that she held dear to her heart. May we find strength in each other during this difficult time and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
“Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard but always near,
Still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
