Teresina "Teresa" Sasso

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Teresina Sasso (nee Capito), daughter of the late Giulia Capito (Giacobbe) and the late Ilario Capito and wife of the late Armando Sasso. She is preceded in death by her siblings Maria Bruno (Luigi), Nicola Capito (Maria), Francesco Capito (Anna) and Giuseppe Capito (Mary). Teresina was born on May 24th, 1929 in Ciro Marina, Italy. She passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2022 at the age of 93. She is survived by her children Vincenzo Jim (Norma), Pino Ilario, Julie (Lino), Silvana (Michael) and Lina. Her memory will live on in her grandchildren Jenna (Mark), Jacqueline (Marco), Cassandra (Peter), Marco, Venezia, Peter and Kayla and great grandchildren Alessandra, Matthew and Mia. Although she may no longer be with us, her spirit and memory will remain eternal in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St.). After the long driveway, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Monday, October 24, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, October 25 at 10:00 a.m. with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum.
