Vilma Marcuzzi

Vilma Marcuzzi, (nee Bortolussi) loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away suddenly on January 24, 2024 at age 90. She will be reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Danilo and her beloved parents Ottone and Santina. Vilma’s children Dany (Margaret) and Nancy (late Ian) were fortunate to have a loving, nurturing and compassionate mother who instilled strong values of love and resilience. Vilma’s grandchildren Daniel (Estra), Nicholas, Natalie, Emily, Aidan, and Connor were blessed to have such a wonderful Nonna who showered them with love and affection. She was always there to offer guidance, share wisdom and celebrate their achievements. Vilma’s love extended even further as she became a great grandmother to Mia who bought immense joy to her life. 

She will be deeply missed by her sister Alda (late Remigio) and brother Franco (Annette) and her nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. 

Vilma found joy in gardening, crocheting, bingo and challenging sudoku and word search puzzles.  Vilma’s gentle ways and smile will be deeply missed by all those she left behind.  To be loved by her was to be truly blessed.

Visitation will be taking place at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St.) on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm, and Wednesday January 31, 2024 from 10-11am until the commencement of the service at 11:00am within the Trillium Chapel at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
