Vincenzo Salvatore Raschella 

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vincenzo Salvatore Raschella on October 18th 2024 at Providence Healthcare centre in Toronto. 

Vincenzo was born in Mammola, in the province of Calabria, Italy, to the late Francesco Raschella and Filomena Calla. Predeceased by his older sister Giudittina and younger brother Nicodemo. He leaves behind his siblings Bettina, Guiseppe, Raffaele, and Nunzia. 

He is survived by his loving wife Rosalia of 67 years, and his five sons Frank (Laura), Phil (Rita), Eddie, Rob and Joe. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Lucas (Jordana), Jessica, Massimo, Matthew and Paul. 

 Immigrating from Italy in the sixties, Vincenzo worked very hard to build a successful life for his family. His greatest joy was spending time with his family particularly outside in the garden. His hard work and dedication to family and tradition has been instilled in all of us. 

 Vincenzo will be remembered by all who met him and will be missed dearly. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Society of Toronto which will aid in research for the disease that affected Vincenzo. See link below:
